Prescriptions
Ordering repeat prescriptions
The best way to order your prescriptions is on line, this means you can do it anytime of the day or night. However if you do not have on line access, patients on long-term medication will be requested to complete a form to re-order when collecting their prescriptions. Simply mark the items you require on the form, along with which pharmacy you wish to collect them from, and send it to us or drop it in at reception.
Telephone requests cannot be accepted unless if you are housebound or by an agreement with our GP’s.
Please allow 48 hours for us to process the order at which time it will be sent to the chemist of your choice.
Order via AccuRxAcute Prescriptions (one off items not on repeat)
Please note acute prescriptions may take longer than 48 hours to prepare, so bear this in mind when ordering.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor, clinical pharmacist or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.
These charges apply in England only. In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales prescriptions are free of charge.
