Welcome to our new member of the Reception/Secretarial team Christine Murphy
Our flu vaccination programme has been delayed due to vaccine supply issues. We are therefore not able to offer any clinics until we have a confirmed delivery date. Please DO NOT contact the surgery as we will contact all eligible patients when we have clinic dates.
Children aged 2-3 can be vaccinated, please call the surgery to book your child's appointment with the nurse.
COVID 19 Boosters
We are keen to start our Covid 19 Booster programme and hope to have an update for patients in the next week or two.
From the 1st July 2021 we are required by law to share data from patient's clinical records with NHS digital under the General Practice Data for Planning and Research Drirections 2021. For more information, including how to opt-out of sharing your records, please see more here:
COVID 19 VACCINATION STATUS CERTIFICATE
We are unable to issue this certificate at the practice.
Please see https://www.gov.uk/guidance/demonstrating-your-covid-19-vaccination-status-when-travelling-abroad for further information.
Alternatively, you can call the NHS helpline on 119 (from 17 May) and ask for a letter to be posted to you. This must be at least 5 days after you’ve completed your course of the vaccine. The letter may to take another 5 days to reach you, or more if postal services are affected. Please take account of this when making your plans.
COVID 19 Vaccinations
Our Covid 19 vaccination programme has now finished. We are pleased to say we vaccinated over 2,400 patients.
If you are in the priority groups 10 - 12 (people aged 49 down to 18) you will need to book your appointment via the national NHS booking service when your age group becomes eligible. This will allow you to find a suitable date and time at another site including the Guttman Vaccination Centre (or other large centre in a neighbouring county) and a participating community pharmacy.
Health Staff Vaccination Allocation
Please see below.
Health Care Staff Vaccine Allocation
As per the government guidelines, from Monday 15th June 2020, all patients aged 3 or over visiting Gladstone Surgery will need to provide their own face covering to be worn at all times whilst inside the surgery. A cloth face covering should cover your mouth and nose while allowing you to breathe comfortably. It can be as simple as a scarf or bandana that ties behind the head.
Please visit: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/how-to-wear-and-make-a-cloth-face-covering
Only those patients that have been triaged or have a face to face appointment should come to the surgery at their allotted time.
Only the patient should attend, for children and those that need help only one parent or carer should attend. Please do not bring children to the surgery with you.
For all information about Covid 19 please refer to Gov.Uk website.
